Introducing Yung Starling: Our Hygienist at South Coast Orthodontics

Dear All,

As I focus on leading South Coast Orthodontics, it’s important that I recognise and introduce you to my support team, who are all integral to our business operations and outcomes.

Today I’d like to introduce you to Yung Starling who has been with the South Coast Orthodontics family for almost a year as a hygienist. Yung plays a pivotal role in our practice, focusing primarily on removing braces.

Yung’s story is truly inspiring. Originally from Vietnam, she arrived in Australia in 1999 and quickly recognised the transformative power of quality dental care, not just for physical health but also for emotional wellbeing. This realisation ignited her passion to make preventative dental treatments accessible to those who need them most across the Illawarra.

With over 20 years of hands-on experience in various dental health roles, Yung has cultivated a wealth of knowledge in dentistry. She is a qualified Oral Health Therapist, having trained at the University of Newcastle, with her expertise spanning from preventative services such as dental examinations to regular hygiene cleans, gum disease treatment, fillings, teeth whitening, and the creation of mouthguards.

We appreciate having Yung on our team, and I can testify that her warm, caring nature and extensive experience continues to make a positive impact on our practice and our patients. According to Yung, “South Coast Orthodontics is one of the most reputable establishments in the Illawarra and I love being a part of this wonderful family of professionals who give their all to their patients.”

If you haven’t already, we can’t wait for you to experience the prowess, professionalism and personalisation Yung brings to our practice and patients.

Warm regards,

Dr. Kamal Ahmed

P.S. How do you tell the gender of an ant?

Put it in a glass of water. If it sinks, it’s a girl ant. If it floats, it’s buoyant.
